And tomorrow, it's the Village Green festival at Chalkwell Park in Westcliff-on-Sea. A music and art festival 15mn walk from our house, we'd be mad to miss it!
The event, organised by arts organisation Metal, has grown and grown over the years and this year, more than ever, it brings a much- welcomed relief from all the horrible news coming from all around the world and from our grotesque national and European political antics.
We thought Village Green 2015 would be our last, as only two months ago we were buying a house in Dorset. Things didn't go as planned in the end and we are staying put in the South east at the moment; therefore we have decided to make the most of the local and London culture once again.
You can find the programme HERE.
Let's hope the weather is good!
I have been reporting from the event for several years now on this very blog, and will be doing so again this year! Matt ArtPix and I will be walking around taking pictures and soaking up the atmosphere... See you there!
So what's the VG vibe? Watch this!
I think therefore I write.
