7/12/2013 Inspiring... Zina Nicole Lahr Life's not fair, is it?
Whilst untalented idiots and social parasites earn millions and seemingly last forever, there are incredibly talented people who make this earth a better place and die far too young, and we are robbed of their visionary, thrilling work. This young lady, named Zina Nicole Lahr, was unfortunately killed in a hiking accident a few weeks after this portfolio video was shot. But oh, what an incredible person! Very inspiring... This is what being human means... You describe exactly the same feelings I had. When I was watching the video, I didn't know she had passed away, and thought about leaving a very motivational comment for her until the horrible dates appeared at the end of the film. I have also read Zina's 2 blogposts she has left on her normallyodd.com website. Have you read them as well? 13/12/2013 10:40:18 am
Hiya, Willem... Thanks for the comment. To be perfectly honest, I didn't know her at all, but someone shared the video on facebook and it just thrilled me, then made me incredibly sad. What an incredible waste. I didn't read her blog, so will follow your advice and go and have a look at the blogs. What really gets to me is that the mainstream media is full of talentless twats, with journalists filling up pages and pages about these people (because they have been paid by the music company/PR/publishing house to do it), when truly creative individuals like Zina (and quite a lot of artists/musicians I like) never ever get a mention... It's a sad world we live in... Comments are closed.
